The Central Iron County Water Conservancy District utilizes several springs to provide water to the community of Cedar Highlands. To address drought, the CICWCD saw the need to rehabilitate springs in two locations – one near their upper tank site and one near their lower tank site.
The upper spring rehabilitation was the most productive, and the District elected to expand beyond the initial spring site during construction to capture as much water as possible. The redevelopment in the lower site was less successful in finding new water, but the project was still used to replace aging infrastructure. Ensign provided the civil engineering, municipal and surveying services.
